Edging Beds

Today I have been tidying up the edges of the beds at a client's property. The soil is a clay type and needs some organic material added to soften up. When it is wet, the soil is easy to work. However, when it is wet, it’s so hard and compact. This presents issues when weeding with a hoe in the summer months. Hopefully, with the client’s consent, I would like to start composting waste, so I can use it to add to beds like these.
